I just adore Alexis Bittar! I’m not the only one, am I? Check out his hand-painted, hand-carved gold snake cuff adorned with citrine eyes. It’s so amazing and worth every dollar–in this case $135 and available at Alexis Bittar. He just has such an amazing background…much like an emerging designers fairytale coming out! In 1990, he started his line of lucite jewelry using turn-of-the-century talique glass and shortly after, his line of stainless and lucite furniture was being shown at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in NYC.

In 1990, Bittar designed Burberry’s first couture jewelry line founding the popular style: plaid on lucite. His growing popularity landed him a gig working on jewelry with Patricia Field for “Sex and the City,” which can be credited as proof that this man knows his stuff. Bittar is now seen in every major fashion publication from here to Europe including Vogue Italia to W to Harpers Bazaar.
