A bunch of editors from Elle were talking to me at lunch yesterday about these new Steve Madden Chaps. Supposedly, the “Chap” is in such great demand that stores have been talking preorders! This shoe boasts a leather sole, 4.75″ heel, a hidden 1″ platform and a price tag of $149.95. I guess paired with leggings and a micro-mini, they could be cute. But are they cute enough to be ordering in advance? THAT, I really don’t know.

I really like these shoes, but that heel would kill me. (My feet are a tiny 6.) They seem versital to me, but aren’t they a blatant rip off of some new Louboutins?

Gorgeous. Couture-esque. $$ – Steal. You must be adventurous enough to pull it off. Not to mention – slim long legs are a must, not for bottle calves, that’s for sure.
