College football fans: design your own American Eagle tailgate gear
So, I'm a huge Penn State football fan, and love tailgating at Beaver Stadium. And I'm sure those of you who are like me--enjoy hanging out outside with your friends before the big game playing beer pong and eating grilled cheeseburgers--also know that it's not always easy to look cute while wearing your school colors and having to dress warm. But American Eagle Outfitters Inc. is making it that much easier--they're now offering custom-made tailgate gear to cheer on your team in style. Check out their site on Fridays for their AE Big Game Live coverage from the previous Saturday's game and the chance to design your own fleece hoodies in your school colors with combinations of letters, numbers, and words and an embroidered AE logo.
The site will also feature online videos of fans describing their pre-gaming rituals. And if you're tailgating at the game, keep an eye out for two students from each participating school giving away the chance to design your own Tailgate Tee, plus limited-edition American Eagle products and $25 gift cards to tailgaters wearing AE apparel. According to WWD, AE kicked off their AE Big Game Live event this past Saturday in Happy Valley, Pa. at the Penn State vs. Wisconsin game. Two more of their eight AE Big Game Live events will be at Ohio State vs. Michigan on Nov. 17 and USC vs. UCLA on Dec. 1.
