At the 11th Annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards at Cipriani in Manhattan on Monday, Lucy Liu looked very stunning. Her dress might be big and ruffly with a large lacy bow on the front, but it works for her. Jessica Simpson was one of the presenters (shown above with president and CEO of Macy’s Inc. The awards ceremony recognized top accessories designers, giving the award Designer of the Year to the much deserved Marc Jacobs (left). Mandy Moore (right) received the Fashion Innovator award, and Heidi Klum won the Fashion Influencer award for her jewelry line. Other award winners included Amy Sussman, Macy’s, Inc. for Retailer of the Year, Harper’s Bazaar for Magazine of the Year, Scoop for Specialty Retailer of the Year, Bridget Foley for Marylou Luther Award for Fashion Journalism, and Nancy Gonzalez for Brand of the Year.
