Open-toe boot: Yay or Nay?

opentoeboot.jpgOk, so I love knee-high boots and I love open-toe shoes, but together? I’m not so sure. These Open-toe Boots from Arden B. combine both my loves for a look I can only deem as overkill. I like the way these nylon knee-high boots fit very snug against the leg, and they’d look great with a slightly rounded toe, but the open toe just looks odd. It kind of defeats the purpose of a boot, don’t you think? They’re for keeping your feet warm on chilly days while still creating a sexy, stylish look, so we don’t lament the wonderful sandal-wearing days of summer so much… But that’s just my opinion, what do you think?
