This year we’re being treated to the first two of five shoes that Vivienne Westwood has designed in collaboration with the Brazilian label Melissa. The Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Mary Jane + Melissa, shown above, takes inspiration from a leather shoe from Westwood’s 2002 Summertime collection and is reinvented in injected plastic. And they’ll help you punch up your spring wardrobe with trendy bright colors like red, marine blue and green, but there are also basics and neutrals for the less daring.

In addition to the mary jane molded from Melissa’s signature plastic, there are flats in maroon and black.

The other spring style is the Ultragirl which comes in two styles – one covered in velvet with a traditional tartan print on the inner sole and the other highlighting the shine of plastic with a flower-patterned inner sole.

We’re just hoping these shoes become available stateside!
