New York Fashion Week: Backstage at Tuleh

Sweaters, dresses, coats, they were all belted at Tuleh last night. The waists were a little high, higher than your natural waist, but without being too exaggerated. What was exaggerated were the 50's full skirt silhouettes - to lovely effect. But make no mistake that this collection was decidedly modern. A beautiful strapless cocktail dress was paired with a long, slouchy cardigan and patterns, colors and fabrics combined to keep the look fresh and new. The runway was a veritable rainbow of sweaters, skirts, and coats. Shine is no longer the heavy patent glare, but a more satiny sheen. For pics of my backstage adventures, keep reading.
