New York Fashion Week: Betsey Johnson runway video
No staid stomping here, the models at Betsey Johnson bounce down the runway with balloons during their final turn. The fashions were classic Betsey with bright colors, whimsical prints, and a sexy silhouettes. It was surprising to see a lot of red, white, and blue which is typically a preppy look, but Betsey made it rock.
If the runway was a birthday party, the set was a beatnick bistro, as evidenced by "Beat Chick" scrawled across the show notes and Betsey staffers in black and white striped shirts. Keep reading for more videos!
In the video above Betsey and partner Chantal Bacon take their bows, and Betsey does her famous post-show cartwheel. That was a surreal moment!
