Last night on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York, the so far less-entertaining or engaging spin-off of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps donned this Alice + Olivia for the Seventeen magazine fashion week party and later attended the Alice + Olivia presentation.

Thankfully, the middle-aged mother of two wore the sequin racer back dress as a tunic, now on sale for $242. But the piece still looked out of place, as did she and fellow housewife Jill Zarin.

Later, at the Alice + Olivia in-store fashion week presentation, the most annoying housewife of all, Ramona Singer managed to offend the A + O models as well as former mannequin de Lesseps by shouting that models don’t have to use their brains anyway.

While this show has much more fashion than the Housewives of Orange County, with front row hissy fits and all, it’s still much less entertaining and the clothes themselves are generally boring. Sometimes the old-lady cleavage is a bit too much, but never as scandalizing as it is in Orange County.
