You'd think Camila Alves has enough on her plate as the live-in girlfriend of Mathew McConaughey since the couple recently announced that a baby will soon arrive on the scene. But, Alves is almost as excited about something else about to hit the scene - her handbag line Muxo.
Alves brings her experience as a model for such renowned fashion houses as Valentino, Carolina Herrera, Escada and Giorgio Armani to her line.
"My main goal was to create something where people didn't have to compromise," Alves told WWD. "That it could be exactly what they needed."
Details like distressed leather, fringe and embellishment and hues of burgundy, ochre and chocolate make the collection - which runs from $500 to $1,300 - unique. The Paulista bag above is one example, priced at $1,350.
You can expect to find the bags at prestige department stores and speciality boutiques like L.A.'s Diane Merrick, which will host the launch, in May.
