Nude photographs of Kate Moss, Carla Bruni and Gisele to go on the auction block

More details are coming out about the iconic photographs from the collection of Gert Elfering set to be auctioned off at Christie's on April 10. Included in the sale? Nude photographs of (the newly engaged?) Kate Moss, Carla Bruni, and Gisele, and photos from such household names as Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Patrick Demarchelier, Frank Horvat, Peter Lindbergh, and Irving Penn.

The image of Kate Moss is expected to go for $40,000 and the other lots are sure to garner similar sums.

The auction features pieces Elfering originally wanted to keep for himself and left out of his 2005 sell-off but must have changed his mind about, including an Avedon of Brigitte Bardot and Newton's Elsa Peretti as Bunny Girl.
