Academy of Country Music Awards: Karolina Kurkova, Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift, LeAnn Rimes

It is a mixed bag of fashions at country music events, and most music events really. There was some horrible western wear (we're looking at you, Miss Nevada) and a lot of prom dresses at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night.
But lucky for us a few fabulous ladies stunned in the style department.
We're not sure why Karolina Kurkova was presenting at the awards ceremony, but she chose a short, backless romper to do it. It was definitely a fashion-forward choice for the more tradtitional red carpet, but she certainly showed that she still has the body she's known for.

Nicole Kidman shines in her pregnancy in a beautiful Yves Saint Laurent strapless babydoll dress. Kidman's love for neutrals that come close to her skin tone kind of baffles us when she looks so good in brights like red, but she certainly looks luminous here.
Taylor Swift chose a long Grecian dress that looked elegant and age appropriate. The 18-year-old songstress has a tendency to look like she's dressing a little too old - or perhaps too trashy - for her age, but this gown hit exactly the right note. Swift won the best new female vocalist award at the ceremony.
In a purple J. Mendel gown for the red carpet, LeAnn Rimes changed into a black minidress for performance of "Family." We like the dress, especially the color, and the shoes are really pretty. But all together the look is a little pedestrian. We'd like to see her up the fashion quotient in the future.
These girls looks just cool dressed like that, I love their style. I'm going to buy myself something similar to what Karolina wears, I just can't wait for it :D.
