Met Costume Institute Gala: a couple of couples in Armani - Tomkat and the Beckhams

Even more so than award shows, the Costume Institute Gala must be a really romantic date night. No pressure, just lots of glamour.

Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and the Beckhams made quite an impression on the red carpet at the Met Gala last night. As guests of co-chair, Giorgio Armani the awesome foursome were also dressed by the Italian designer.

Katie looked ravishing in a bright red strapless gown with bright blue pointed heels poking out the bottom, while Victoria was her usual vampish self in a white thigh-splitting number and killer heels. Out of the boys, I'd have to say that David Beckham wins hands down. His black tie tuxedo outdoes Tom Cruise's three piece suit, plus it is David Beckham that we're talking about who was no doubt wearing Armani right down to his skivvies.
