Gossip Girl goes to the Hamptons and gets more eps next season!

Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester may be visiting TRL in New York City in the photo above, but their on-screen counterparts will be hitting the Hamptons for their second season.

“Cause you gotta go to the Hamptons, right?” Leighton Meester told Eonline’s Kristin Dos Santos on the set of Entourage, on which Meester is guest starring next season. “And, by the way, we aren’t shooting in Staten Island like they did on Sex and the City. We’re shooting in the real Hamptons.”

To make up for the episodes missed during the strike, Gossip Girl is getting a longer season next year. The CW should announce a 24-episode season two next week.

Leighton also revealed that the cast refers to Michelle Trachtenberg’s trouble-making character George-gina – to ryhme with a certain female body part. We wonder if it’s not just the character in question after rumors that the cast doesn’t get along with their new costar.

Ok.I’m sure this a really good site and all,but but you should really try to fix spelling and grammar mistakes that come up. For example, it’s spelled ManhattAn- with an A, not an E. Second of all, there is no apostrohphe in the word “fashioniatas” unless you are referring to the posessive form of a singular fashionista. However, it seems that you are simply referring to the plural form of fashionista and therefore no apostrophe is required. I am doing this merely to help you with your blog, not to disrespect you in any way.
