
Italian lifestyle brand Fornarina is hoping new spokesperson Lindsay Lohan will help them break into the American market.
Lilo announced her new position at the Fornarina Urban Beauty Show in Paris this week. The first advertising staring Lohan will hit in the spring of 2009, once Fornarina has opened flagships in London, Paris and New York by the end of this year.
“[Lindsay] is that very self-confident, dynamic woman, she’s got a lot of attitude,” Scott Ronaldson, managing director of Fornari Retail, told WWD. “That’s what we’re hoping our customer will aspire to.”
Fornarina stores will be comprised of a denim bar, accessories area, a Total Look section with ready-to-wear presented in a high-tech environment, and a Rock Out zone with performances by local DJs and artists.
There’s a possibility that Lohan will also design accessories for the brand. She has after all already launched her own line of leggings.
