Apparently, Nina Garcia is headed for Marie Claire!

We reported earlier that Marie Claire was rumored to be in the running to replace Elle Magazine as the Project Runway partner magazine, and now more pieces of the puzzle are coming together.

The job move and magazine partnership would clear the way for Garcia’s continued presence on Project Runway, which has been hotly debated.

Garcia will supposedly be taking a position in Marie Claire’s fashion department. News that Marie Claire’s fashion director, Tracy Taylor, is leaving the magazine surfaced at the same time – leaving us free to speculate the Garcia could be up for that job.

The upcoming fifth season of Project Runway will be the show’s last on the Bravo Network, and the last year of the show’s contract with Elle, before moving to Lifetime, which has corporate ties to Marie Claire.
