The first photos of Lanvin’s anticipated capsule collection for Acne Jeans have hit the Web and they reveal a collection as chic as we expected.

But, if you were also anticipating some more affordable pieces – sorry, the lowest priced items – the jeans – start at $550. Other offerings include coats, accessories and other jewelry, all starting over $1,000.

“I’ve started conceptualizing all of this not so long ago,” Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz told Fashion Week Daily. “I was very pleased when I started working with Acne. They’re just young, energetic sexy Swedes and our partnership really wasn’t about signing hardcore contracts, it was really just about creating about something that was mutually fun and creative.”

Oh those sexy Swedes (they did bring us H&M).

Barneys New York and Bergdorf Goodman will start carrying the collection just in time for holiday – late November. Not just jeans, it will also include a dress, tuxedo jacket, belted trench and blouson.

“At first, I of course imagined a silhouette of jeans that we normally think of for men and women,” said Elbaz. “But then, when you think about it you can do anything with jeans–even jewelry!”

And jewelry there will be, like earrings and even medallion necklaces. Denim bags and stilettos round out all the goodies.
