Varied hemlines heated up the red carpet at the premiere of “The Dark Knight” in New York.

Unsurprisingly, Blake Lively showed the most leg in a Mary-Kate-esque silk romper. As is usually the case with one piece sets like this, the fit seems a little off. They’re always either too skin tight or baggy in the wrong places. Having a perfect body like Blake’s helps you pull it off, though.

In the knee-length category we have Lauren Conrad in a form-fitting corset-like number. The silhouette is a little sexy-secretary, which is something Maggie Gyllenhaal knows a little bit about. But for this night she chose a long strapless gown befitting a leading lady.
