Shopbop say these Diane von Furstenberg Pickford High Heel Granny Bootie are Victorian inspired, I say they’re a take on the classic boot known as the witch-y boot. Ok so I’m joking, but when you look at these booties for the first time, you immediately think of those other shoes from the Wizard of Oz - as worn by the Wicked Witch of the West. First impressions aside, these are actually a chic little boot with lace-up detail at the front, but for convenience there is a zipper closure at the back of the shoe. The perforated trim is reminiscent of the Victorian era and the 4″ heel and almond shaped toe are the perfect finishing touches.
