You can't help but think of the old fashion guard and the new when you see the stars of two fashion-centric television shows aimed at very different age groups cavorting in New York.
Lipstick Jungle actresses Lindsay Price and Brooke Shields were chatting with Gossip Girl ingenues Leighton Meester and Jessica Szohr at the Longchamp 60th anniversary party this week.
I would think the, ahem, less youthful ladies could only benefit from association with fashion darling Blair Waldorf. And it's a positive PR move for Blair herself, Leighton Meester, to be seen out with a castmember from her show since the gossip rags have been reporting strife onset.
Almost everyone chose basic black, while Szohr went with her character's more boho, earthtone vibe.
