Oh dear, it seems that things certainly aren’t all hunky-dory over at the Topshop New York site. It is believed that the opening of the first U.S. Topshop store has now been pushed back until March next year.
Earlier this month, we reported that delays due to construction problems meant that the store wouldn’t open until November, now that date has been extended until spring 2009. This I guess this means no holiday shopping now.
“It’s been put back to spring because Topshop doesn’t want to open in the sale period after Christmas or in the likely bad weather in January and February,” a source revealed.
For those who may have missed the memo, Topshop launched a transactional website for the U.S. this month. Check it out at: www.topshopus.com
