Way at the bottom of a long article on the legal disputes surrounding season six of Project Runway, WWD revealed some interesting tidbits about the sixth season, which just wrapped filming in L.A.

We can look forward to guest judges like Rebecca Romijn, Eva Longoria and Lindsay Lohan - some of the show’s biggest celeb names yet. But what of big designer names? Hopefully the left coast relocation hasn’t put the kibosh on more industry-insider guests.

What won’t we see? Too much of Nina Garcia or Michael Kors, according to reports.

Apparently the two only make a handful of appearances, and rarely together.

Another downer? More staging and fake reality. Since the California outpost of PR staple Mood Fabrics is an hour away from the filming spot, the crew shot some of the scenes at a fake “Mood” storefront at a different store.

When will we get to see all the staged drama and screen stars? It’s still up in the air. Originally scheduled to debut on Lifetime in January, it’s starting to look like we won’t see the new season until summer 2009.

The latest legal woes involve Lifetime, heretofore unmentioned in the legal dispute between NBC/Bravo and the Weinstein Company, moving to relocate the case from New York State Supreme Court to federal court since it involves federal copywright laws.
