Celebrities have had a stronghold over Miu Miu campaigns for quite a while now. Take for instance past faces, Kirsten Dunst, Vanessa Paradis, Drew Barrymore, and Lindsay Lohan.
But this season the goss so far has been that Miuccia Prada is going back to using models for the spring/summer '09 campaign. That was until Fashionologie picked up on this interesting little tidbit that Katie Holmes has, in fact, been courted for the campaign.
As for the campaign featuring models, well more speculation hints that they will be there, joining Holmes not as the stars of the show, but acting as her 'accessories' instead.
I know, interesting right?
Of course no official word has been released yet. I just thought you'd like to know what they're saying on the grapevine.
