Usually Louis Vuitton has luxe luggage product placement down - especially in period movies.
But it looks like Prada won this round with a fab set of custom-made luggage for Nicole Kidman's character Sarah in Australia.
The set includes trunks, suitcases, hat boxes and a picnic set crafted of the brand's signature pergamena leather.
Aach piece was handcrafted from a unique goatskin material using Miuccia Prada's grandfather Mario Prada's legendary technique.
Finishing touches like signature nylon jacquard, stitched lining, locks and metal feet took more than one week to complete.
"Sarah is a very modern woman," says costume director Catherine Martin, who won Oscars for her work on Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Moulin Rouge. "She wears trousers, which is very avant-garde, in the spirit of Katherine Hepburn and Carole Lombard."
In addition to the Prada luggage, shoes were made by cobbler-to-the-stars Salvatore Ferragamo.
