In the winter, it becomes a little scarier to wear your open-weave or fishnet-type tights with the wind whipping your stems. So, the thing has become to wear these lower-coverage tights over a pair of opaques.
I was grappling with this question myself today (grey open-weave tights over black?) and was told that tights over tights screams "I think I'm sooo hip." (I decided on maroon opaques, by themselves.)
So what do you think? Have you sported tights over tights to stay fashionable and toasty?

It can look a bit trampy if not done with taste but don't be afraid! Stay away from fishnets and bright colors in my opinion.
