If there’s one thing American fashion designers know, it’s how to run a successful business. To hold her own during the recession, Donna Karan stuck to what she does best for A/W 2009. Sharp shoulders, beautifully cut separates and a mixture of great tailoring and artfully draped pieces created a wardrobe of timeless pieces that work together in various ways for different looks. It may not be new, but it’s practical and beautifully executed. Cheers to Coutorture for the video.
