Matching tans, matching make-up and matching pouts, the one thing that actually sets them apart at the LG Rumorous Night event in Los Angeles last night was their choice of outfit.
While Vanessa chose a dainty mint frock and black gladiator heels, former-blonde-now-brunette Ashley chose a racier, backless blue number and likewise, paired it with black strappy heels. Both looked fresh and pretty, but who owned the red carpet more? Vote in our poll below and let us know.

It was a match made in reality TV heaven, and the cameras were there to capture every moment. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were married for a second time over the weekend in front of their family and friends in Pasadena, California. The couple eloped to Mexico in November, but later found out their union was not legally binding. Dressed in floaty strapless Monique Lhullier dress, Heidi dazzled in over $1million of diamonds. Attending the nuptials were MTV stars Audrina Partridge, Brody Jenner, Kristin Cavallari and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth. But the biggest surprise was Lauren Conrad (above, right), who made a quick exit after originally saying that she wouldn’t be attending.

But look at her outfit at the Chanel-hosted annual dinner for Tribeca Film Festival Artist Awards Program – it’s sleek, sophisticated and Chanel to a ‘T’ – Mr Lagerfeld would be very pleased. The silver silk harem pants are, in a way, a bold choice but are made to look timeless and effortlessly elegant thanks to the basic black roll neck sweater and black peep-toes. Am wishing for a Freaky Friday body swap right about now!
Fanning our lust for all things Balmain is Kate Moss. The supermodel caused a pap frenzy overnight as she left Nobu restaurant with funny man, David Walliams (yep, that’s him behind her!) The supermodel looked fantastically-futuristic in a silver and black sequinned mini dress, with exaggerated shoulders from Balmain’s autumn/winter ’09 collection. She also attended the launch the new White Light diamond, designed by her friend Shaun Leane. I wonder, has she been taking style inspiration from Star Trek and Claire Merry’s Pam Hogg spacesuit?

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock (or not keeping up with your Shiny Style reading!), you will know that today was D-Day aka The Day Matthew Williamson for H&M Was Launched To Much Frenzy. I don’t know if you managed to pop along to check it out for yourself, but I’ve been following The Cut’s tweets of the day’s events and it sounds like a wee bit of madness. Apparently, the floor-length silk dress was in demand, and we can betcha the peacock dress (as seen on Nicky Hilton, Katy Perry and Mischa Barton this afternoon in London) was a bit of a hit too. It’s a bit of Lauren Conrad overload today, but we thought you’d still like to know those rumours that she would be resting her fashion label really weren’t a sign that she was giving up on design for good.
Why? Because the reality TV star has just announced a new collaboration with Kohl’s department stores.
Just a month after LC revealed she would be taking a hiatus from her upscale line, she has revealed that she will be launching a brand new range, called LC Lauren Conrad, for Kohl’s.
“It is a California chic line,” she said. “It is a little more casual. They are basically trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere.”
According to Gwyneth Paltrow and her GOOP crew, there’s nothing like a spring clean to truly cleanse the soul and declutter your life. We have to say we thoroughly agree with this sentiment (I may have even written this article just recently about the very same subject!)
But what makes this little ditty coming from Gwynnie even better, is the opportunity to purchase her cast-offs! Yes, the actress has put up everything from Balenciaga bracelets to Chanel handbags up on eBay, so now has never been a better time to get your fingers auction-ready at the keyboard.
Since hitting our screens again in a BIG way for the 5th season, the cast of The Hills (plus ex-Hills-er and now City girl, Whitney Port) rocked up to PaleyFest ’09 in their best threads to participate in one of the panel discussions where the cast divulge all in a Q & A session.
Lauren Conrad looked very much the star, in her gorgeous mustard yellow frock, while Whitney stayed true to her chic boho style in an ivory floor-length tiered dress. Question playing on our minds: Where were Spencer and Heidi?

The designer photographed the Harry Potter star for French mag, Crash, which was unveiled last month. On her new friendship with Lagerfeld, she tells Interview‘s Derek Blasberg:
“I’d met Karl a few times before, at parties or something where we really couldn’t talk. But this was a dream come true. We spent the whole day together, and he can talk about anything – literature, art, science, modern culture. I was totally seduced. I felt spoiled to be spending so much time with him.”
