It never fails to give me the warm fuzzies when celebs use their star power to get out there and support good causes (especially when it’s the ones you know are doing it for the right reasons, rather than those fame hungry ones…) And last night’s DKMS Annual Gala, for a charity dedicated to helping patients fighting blood cancers and finding bone marrow matches, was a perfect example of a worthy event brought to public attention by stars such as Rihanna and Kylie Minogue.

Kyles climbed to the top of the Empire State Building to light it up red and white in honor of the gala earlier and then later on slipped into this simple-yet-anything-but-boring cocoa brown frock. Rihanna went in the other direction with a more rock n’ roll look from Louis Vuitton, while designer Betsey Johnson stayed true to her usual kooky style in bright colours.
