Girls have their certain style when it comes to make up. Some choose not to wear any or as little as possible, while others make up for these girls, wearing enough in one night to keep cosmetic brands in business for two years.
While neither of these are wrong (everyone has their own style) there are certain must haves that every girl needs to keep in her make-up bag.
We spoke to Barry M Cosmetics Celebrity Make-up Artist Amy Sachon to bring you a list of top tips.
Make-up must have one: Lip gloss.
"I always keep a handy Barry M Cosmetics Coconut Clear Lip Gloss (RRP £4.25) in my handbag to leave lips looking healthy and hydrated. You never know who you're going to bump into so it's vital that you're always looking your best, says Amy.
Make-up must have two: Face Powder
If you've got oily skin or worried about your foundation becoming shiny on a night or day out then face powder is the perfect remedy. "Throughout the day your face goes through various temperature changes so I always dab on some face powder to keep skin looking flawless at all times," says Amy.
Make-up must have three: Mascara
For us, this is the ultimate weapon in make-up. Even on its own it's enough to give you eyelashes that you'll feel confident to batter wherever you are. Amy says it's also a perfect way to brighten the eyes and leave lashes looking longer and fuller.
Make-up must have four: Cover up
Cover up is definitely a miracle product and we're not sure what we'd do without it, especially on those days where the spots decide to come out and play. Amy says it's also "good for disguising bags under the eyes and general puffiness."
Make-up must have five: Water (yes really)
Amy says this free tipple is the real secret to ultimate glow, "I always have a bottle of water to hand to keep my body hydrated which leaves the complexion looking great," she said.
