Is the Anna Sui Shakoha Flitflop boot the new Ugg?

After highlighting a number of contenders for the “new Ugg boots”, we think these are currently at the top of the list.

However, the fluffy suede Anna Sui Shakoha FitFlop Boot does more than look good/bad (delete as appropriate).

The limited edition boot offers the boho look all while toning and trimming your legs. Like it’s FitFlop flip flop predecessor, it’s claimed to be biomechanically designed with a patent-pending Microwobbleboard TM Technology to activate your muscles more with every step.

However, for $195 we think we’d rather join the gym.

There’s too much going on there – fringing, bold stitching, an embellished gold star…. think I’ll stick with my classic Uggs.

Interestingly, Ugg has just joined forces with Jimmy Choo (I know, wtf!). They’ve got some collaborative designs coming out later this year. Should be interesting, to say the least.
