We think Cheryl Cole (or her stylist) must have been looking at our gallery of Strictly-inspired dresses, because on Saturday’s X Factor live show she was wearing a sequined dress just like some of the ones we featured.

Of course, Cheryl’s was Alexander Wang, not Dorothy Perkins, but at least we can get a similar look at a price that suits our budget. Cheryl’s navy blue sequined dress is really wearable, and she looked great in it on Saturday, especially since it was a bit less experimental than some of her other outfits so far. Alexander Wang has had a really great year in 2009, so expect to see a lot more of his designs on celebrities in 2010…
