Well said! Speaking from a man's perspective I love leggings and find it a great way to flatter a woman's shapely legs, but no, I don't want to see her camel-toe, it's not nice, whoever's it is. I've even messed around with the men's leggings haute couture catwalk look myself, and my Mrs loves my legs in it, but that too is definitely also a long t-shirt job and definitely a crotch no-no. Then I wonder why any discussion of "man leggings" on the web always seems to have complainers because you show your "parts" off! Don't! It's the same for women just as much as men that when it comes to leggings; don't show the tight crotch area unless they're thicker fabric leggings/ jeggings and you can't see the outline of it all!

It is always splendid to see a woman wearing leggings as trousers. Each woman has unique legs and leggings reveal the nuances. This to me should be how they are worn. Depending on the type and the wearer, they can slim a thigh or emphasize it's dancer like slenderness, they can reveal curves without revealing anything, and they accessorize an oufit or form the basis of an outfit themselves. Perhaps if they weren't made of such cheap materials (unlike those of the 90s)they might attract less hostility.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Can I just say your next article topic should be 'Jeggings.' Why oh why are jean-leggings allowed? Haven't we taken oaths? Haven't we agreed that some lines are just too horrible to cross? Then again the apocalypse might just be two years early. Oy.

Leggings are fine as pants and they are very comfortable. It’s time that we ALL wear leggings and for the others to get over the fashionista and body image constraints and just wear them. They know they want to, they know leggings will be more comfortable than the constrictive clothes they wear now. They should just go for it. Enjoy the fit, feel and look of leggings - just wear them. Everyone looks good in leggings and some look great. Choose a well made pair - not with cotton fibers that bag out over time but a high tech fiber that retains its shape. Go for the comfort and support. Leggings that go to the ankle have a greater positive visual aesthetic than capri style that chop the leg. Plus the full length leggings support you from your ankle to your waist and give you an energetic lift. Check out UnJeansDotCom
