A/W Trend Alert: Staple workwear pieces

The holidays are well and truly over, unless of course your lucky enough to be on your way to Ibiza closing parties, or have bagged yourself a late September deal (can we come in your suitcases?).

And that means that your summer workwear wardrobe may be looking a little bit tired. Yes we know it’s slightly depressing having to fold away those summer maxi dresses and cute cropped trousers that saw you through the past through months but look on the bright side… it’s time to go shopping and get yourself a new autumn work wear wardrobe. Due to the huge amount of trends floating around this season, smart dressers are spoilt for choice. Thanks to the 50s trend, vintage style frocks are a good option, while the lingering military trend means you can get away with blazer jackets in this style.

Then of course, there’s the traditional blouses and suits (camel and tan trousers are going to be huge if you’re not worried about the rain) updated to this season’s style.

We pick out our top five key work pieces.

Great, thank you so much for this, it’s so hard to find new work clothes to get back into the swing of it I think I will be off down to DP to see what else they have decent workwear is so hard to find especially when your just saying goodbye to the summer stuff.
