She’s got two famous parents and had her fair share of modelling jobs, so it was only a little bit of time before Geogia May Jagger hit the designing beat.
The young starlet and face of Rimmel has created a range for with denim label Hudson. According to Vogue, Hudson by Georgia May Jagger will land in stores in spring 2011.
Georgia has been off our fashion radars for a few months after leaving the glamour behind to concentrate on her A-levels, which she did extremely well in getting A’s and B’s. However she made an exception to shoot the Hudson autumn/winter 2010 campaign in New York.
We can’t wait to get a peek at her new range.

Gossip
By Andrea Petrou on October 22nd, 2010

With the first part of the last installment of the Harry Potter films hitting cinemas next month, it was obvious that we’d be getting some behind the scenes gossip.
However, one piece of goss we weren’t expecting to hear is that Emma Watson wasn’t comfortable about her kissing scenes with the two leading lads.
She said the steamy Deathly Hallows kissing scenes, made her ‘grit her teeth’.
The kissing scenes, which also follow onto the second film, due out in July caused Ms Watson some trouble as the trio are so close. ‘Getting into character to kiss Dan and Rupert was tough,’ she told SFX magazine.
‘Forgetting all of our history, and our relationship.
‘Putting all that aside and being in character was pretty bloody hard, it really was. That required a huge amount of professionalism.
‘I really had to grit my teeth and be like, ‘I am Hermione, this is Harry – stop thinking that it’s Emma kissing Dan. It’s not. It’s all good.’
We’re sure many of you ladies out there wouldn’t have had the same problem as Emma….

A true Vivienne Westwood girl wearing an Anglomania suit at the BFI London Film Festival
Mandatory Credit: WENN.com
Seeing the photos of Helena Bonham-Carter in her Anglomania skirt-suit and geek specs at the London Film Festival made me swell up with pride for one of our country’s weirdest national treasures. I love her. I want her strange, scruffy, witchy babies. A true patron of Vivienne Westwood and unbrushed hair, she sums up everything that British fashion is supposed to be about – eccentricity, fun and not trying too hard. Helena’s got that down to an art.
She’s often papped out and about in London looking refreshingly undone in, it seems, whatever she found on her bedroom floor that morning. Sometimes at events she can get it really quite wrong (miniature top hat and John Lennon shades, I’m looking at you) but she doesn’t really seem to care. This makes me love he more. But when Mrs B-C makes an effort she can look phenomenal, as you can see in the gallery above – who can forget that red silk Vivienne Westwood dress that she wore to the première of Sweeney Todd?
Obviously most of us haven’t got her clothing budget and can’t afford to rush out to buy top-to-toe Anglomania (though if you feel like saving up, you should really invest in one of the tartan jackets), but I’ve had a looksie on the internet and found a few great high-street versions that can easily emulate Helena Bonham-Carter’s sloppy glamour. Just don’t forget – if you’re wearing an evening dress and heels, don’t brush your hair. It’s a cardinal sin. What would Mrs B-C say?

Looking pretty and delicate at her Hammersmith Apollo show last night
Credit: (Mandatory) Zak Hussein/WENN.com
Disney darling Selena Gomez performed at London’s Hammersmith Apollo last night, showing the UK that it’s not just Miley Cyrus we should be keeping one fashion eye trained on. Unlike Miley Cyrus, who seems to be favouring ultra-sexy leather, big hair and lace at her live shows now (rebelling against her Hannah Montana past?), Selena looked every inch the wholesome Disney star in her stage performance. But wholesome doesn’t mean boring! Her flirty asymmetric turquoise chiffon dress is a bang on-trend take of the traditional pretty party dress, while her pale tights and delicate ballet flats seemed to give more than a nod to the super-girly clothes seen on the Elie Saab catwalks at Paris Fashion Week.
If you’re not feeling the vampy leather and lace combinations that are on every catwalk and in every high-street store at the moment, then this could be a look that works for you. We found a couple of pretty high-street dresses online that are true Selena femininity – the origami asymmetric teal dress we found at Topshop is a great way to directly steal her style, or if you’re just feeling the ballerina look generally then try the periwinkle chiffon number by Rare that we found on Asos – we promise you it won’t go out of style.

It’s the fashion moment that we’ve all been waiting for: H&M teasingly let us have a sneaky preview of their campaign photo for their dream high-street collaboration with Lanvin. And so far we’re loving what we’re seeing – sharp androgynous tailoring and some dramatic LBDS that we can’t wait to introduce to our wardrobe. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, Alber Elbaz.
It’s been a long time coming to get our hands on edgy, trademark Lanvin style at our favourite H&M prices, and it’s only a little while longer to wait until the collection goes on sale; it hits shops on the 23rd of November. Mark it down on your calendar, because you’ll have to get there early to avoid the inevitable shopping-centre stampedes.
So far H&M is being cruel and withholding any further photos of the collection (the teases), so keep checking back on the site for more news on this couture/high-street mash-up.

Edie Sedgwick used to make dancewear and thrift store clothes look more expensive with dramatic costume jewellery
As Marilyn Monroe was so fond of reminding us, diamonds are a girl’s best friend, something that rings especially true as the party season approaches. But who can afford them? Not even celebrities tend to wear their own jewellery on the red carpet; just like we borrow a cute dress from a friend to wear out to the office Chrthristmas party, celebrities ring up Cartier’s and ask them if they could borrow three million smackers’ worth of diamonds for an important première, pretty please. But that kind of behaviour is really only okay if you’re Jennifer Lopez or similar – I think if I rang up a jeweller’s and asked to borrow some diamonds to go and meet Barry the plumber for a date at the cinema, all I would hear on the other end would be hysterical laughter and them hanging up.
Which is why we should all be taking a leaf out of fashion icon Edie Sedgwick’s book when it comes to making the cheapest of outfits look expensive. One of the true original party girls and face of the 1960s “Factory art” era, Edie knew all about how to make cheap look good. She continues to inspire fashion today with her poor-little-rich-girl style, and is one of my favourite dressers of all time. Pop-art artist Andy Warhol said of Edie in his memoirs, From A to B to Back Again, “She was trying to prove to her family back in Charleston that she could live on nothing, she would go the Lower East Side and buy the cheapest clothes, which happen to be little girl’s skirts, and her waist was so tiny she could get away with it. Fifty cents a skirt. She was the first person to wear ballet tights as complete outfit, with big earrings to dress it up. She was an innovator–out of necessity as well as fun–and the big fashion magazines picked up on her look right away. She was pretty incredible.”
Edie was lucky enough to have a trust-fund – unfortunately, most of us don’t have one of those, which is why I thank the heavens above for costume jewellery. They look like expensive jewels, they glitter like expensive jewels, but they don’t cost like expensive jewels – you can pick up a pair of statement chandelier earrings or a gorgeous cocktail ring from costume jewellery site GlitzySecrets for about twenty quid. Once you’ve got that, it doesn’t matter what else you wear – Edie showed us that all you needed to look party-ready were a pair of black tights and a leotard once you had the jewellery. Hell, you could wearing a binbag to a party and still be the most fabulous person in the room, as long as you’ve got the jewellery.
Viva fake luxury! And viva Edie. Check out the gallery above for our favourite pieces from GlitzySecrets.

Exciting news as Gap unveil the fruits of their most recent collaboration with design geniuse Pierre Hardy; one perfect pair of black suede and leather shoe boots. Well, sometimes simplicity is best. The shoes won’t hit stores in the US until the 28th of October at the slightly un-Gap price of $195, but we can forgive them – it is a beautiful shoe, after all.
Gap’s had a rough time of it these past few weeks; it’s taken a cutting verbal beating from the internet and worldwide fashion-lovers for its’ attempt to ditch their iconic logo for a newer, spiffier one (turns out that the phrase “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” is an important lesson to learn in fashion), so this collaboration could be exactly what the brand needs to get back into their customers’ good books. And we’ll certainly be helping out – by fighting tooth and nail to get a pair when they become available to buy in the UK.

Caramel Wiggle Cream Dress
Cast your eye back to the poetry and romance trend that we highlighted on the site recently, and then read on. Inspired by the likes of Valentino, who showed their delightfully girly and fairytale-esque creations at Paris Couture Week earlier this year, it’s not a mode of dress to be sniffed at and you don’t have to look like a model to wear it well.
The River of Romansk store on Etsy.com ticks all the right fashion boxes, using delicate and girly colours such as peach, nude and lemon in the dresses while creating dresses which sport hourglass silhouettes that Mad Men’s Joan herself would be green over. The creators of the store themselves describe their little dresses as recreating “an era of dainty loveliness; of sash and ribbons, satins and laces.. all of which are reminiscence of a time more dreamy and innocent.” They’re beautiful clothes, but one could argue that their teeny-waisted wiggle dresses are more sexy and knowing than innocent; they promise to create curves that you never knew you had and put an extra slinkiness in your step.
Major fashion points go to River of Romansk for their caramel-toned wiggle dress, which features the silhoutte of the season (womanly) and the colour of the season (camel). A modern approach to the fifties, if you will. Meanwhile, any serious shopper worth their salt would realise that the pale-yellow tea lace skater dress with the zip front is an investment worth making – why get one from Topshop that all your friends own when you can get a unique, River of Romansk original? If you don’t feel like wrapping yourself up in shearling and granny jumpers this winter, do Autumn/Winter the pretty way instead and check out the gallery above for some of our favourites from the store.
