Kenzo celebrated its 40th birthday combining four decades of its designs.

The results? A fun and funky collection of fairy-tale folkloric costumes, which gave a nod to Peruvian chic.

Models resembling living dolls strolled down the catwalk in Kimono-like ethnic costumes complete with wrapped headdresses leaving only the face, which was powedered white with coral lips, visible.

There were multicoloured striped knits dresses as well as silk frocks with layering of deep pinks, greens, reds, browns.

The show was more about showcasing the last 40 years, but we wouldn’t be surprised if we spot a few styles from this filtering into the highstreet next year… we’re thinking patchwork and perhaps ponchos.
