Starting out in 2003

Emma Watson’s style has come into the spotlight over the past week. Some critics are claiming the Harry Potter star is lost now that the final film is over with and struggling to find her own style outside the film’s comforting arms. Others however have praised her move away citing her crop as a big clue that she was shedding her Harry Potter image.
We tend to agree with the latter. Even before the films finished Emma Watson had carved out a niche for herself in the fashion space. She became a model for Burberry and has regularly been spotted in this brand as well as Chanel.
That’s not to say it didn’t find her a while to find her fashion feet. Starting out she did what many of us would have done and tried to look kooky, while still fashionable. The results were at times a little bit disjointed with floral hippy -note, not boho – frocks and big bulky jackets.
However as she grew up her style changed and she was often spotted in gorgeous gowns. She also mastered the kooky look. Fast forward a few years and she’s now become a fully fledged fashion icon, with a new pixie crop to boot.
We shine the style spotlight on on Emma Watson.
