Two trends ran hand in hand at this year’s Oscars. The beaded encrusted sheer frock, which for both Michelle Williams and Amy Adams was also high necked and capped sleeved.
The starlets wore almost identical crystal encrusted frocks, Michelle a white one by Chanel and Amy a navy blue number by L’Wren Scott.
However, they weren’t the only two who channelled the beaded look. Hailee Steinfeld wowed in a Marchesa 50s dress complete with a beaded sheer neckline, while Halle Berry went for a nude fishtail netted frock with crystals also by Marchesa.
Also showing off this trend was Mandy Moore who went for a sheer sleeved pale gold frock by Monique Lhuillier.
