With John Galliano leaving Dior, speculation has been rising about who will replace him. The name on the tip of the rumour mill tongue is of course Givenchy creative designer Riccardo Tisci.

While we’re pleased that this means Dior will carry on being the kooky brand it’s well known for if the rumours are true, we’re slightly concerned about what will happen to Givenchy, which has thrived under Tisci’s designer talent.

Collections for the fashion house have ranged from gothic, to whites to most recently  sheer organza tops over patent leather bras for the SS 2011 collection. Then of course there’s been the celebrity red carpet dresses, most recently the pale beaded frock worn by Cate at the Oscars.

Riccardo you’ll be missed at Givenchy. Here’s some highlights of your work.
