We know we don’t live in Toon Town where the roads are yellow and the birds constantly sing, but for one second we’re asking you to play along. After all there’s no denying that the cartoon world hasn’t produced some stylish ladies, and dare we say influenced some of our fashion. You only have to look at Jessica Rabbit to see how her statement red fishtailesque dress, which of course clings to all the right places, to understand what we’re talking about.
Now that’s out of the way we can get to the main point and that’s who you think is the most stylish out of our two leading cartoon ladies.
As we’ve said before Jessica Rabbit has alot to answer for. Despite being a figment of someone’s imagination – we assume his ideal lady – this cartoon creation’s sexy red dress and long gloves has grown men drawling everywhere. Add to that her curves and you have a stylish woman who shows that size zero is a shape no one wants.
That said Betty Boop’s figure and style is not one to be dismissed. She may not have Jess’s curves but this little character has a wardrobe some would be envious of. Aside from her little black 50s dress, complete with that teasing garter, Bet’s also likes her red short frocks. Occasionally she’ll venture out in a cute swimming costume or long dress too, giving her an edge over Jess who sticks to that trusty red dress.
