Marni Fall 2011 collection

I’ve been a fan of Marni ever since it sent its models down in nautical stripes and sailor hats all those years ago.
And over the past few seasons its kept up the fashion magic. This season was no different.
Like many designers Marni’s creations gave a nod to the 60s and 70s looks.
Geometric prints on cute 60s cut dresses gave the collection a playful look, while the fur cuffed leather gloves and fur jackets over shift dresses gave the collection that luxe look that many designers at Milan have been pushing for.
Stripes, although not of the nautical type, also made an appearance on jersey dresses, while bright colours such as greens, pinks and blues brightened up the winter looks.
This collection was a little ray of sunshine and now we can’t wait to see what Paris Fashion Week brings us.
