Karl Lagerfeld likes Kate Middleton’s nose.
The Chanel designer says he is looking forward to watching the brunette beauty marry Prince William on April 29 and thinks she will make a beautiful bride because of her stunning figure and good looks.
He said: “She is a lovely person with a beautiful body. I like her nose.
“I will be commenting on French TV. Royalty is good for the crowd.”
However, the Chanel maestro isn’t too enthused with the idea of marriage in general, believing that people live for too long to be able to spend their entire lives with just one other person.
He told The Sunday Times Style magazine: “Marriage was invented when people died at 30. Now they marry at 30 and they have to do it for 60 years.
“Perhaps it should be based on more than sex. The idea that you will never look at anyone else, that is a problem.”
Yet Karl’s aversion to lifelong commitment hasn’t deterred him from agreeing to create Lily Allen’s wedding dress when she ties the knot with Sam Cooper on June 11.
The British singer was recently spotted visiting the Chanel studios and when asked what she was doing there, replied: “I’m here to see Karl for my wedding dress.”

Savannah Miller says a “good leg wax” helps her feels glamorous.
The fashion designer – who created the label Twenty8Twelve with actress sister Sienna Miller – says she doesn’t get much time to pamper herself but always makes sure her pins are hair-free and her nails are painted.
Savannah – who raises three children with husband Nick Skinner – said: “It’s not easy looking glamorous with three children, but a good leg wax and a manicure in a dark berry shade go a long way.”
Savannah is also a fan of curled eyelashes as she thinks they help open up your face.
Talking about her make-up must-haves, Savannah told You magazine: “I wear Chantecaille Real Skin foundation and always carry Chanel’s Rouge Allure lipstick in Lover. If I need to look a little more ‘done’, I love Mac’s Eye Kohls or Shu Uemura’s Liquid Eyeliner Pen. I also believe that curling your eyelashes makes all the difference.
“I also have incredibly dry skin so Crème de la Mar is my salvation! It’s expensive but it works.”

The rainy weather may be clearing and the summer on its way but that doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to those wellies. In fact, with festival season just around the corner, these rubber boots are once again making a comeback.
Last Thursday we were given an introduction to the festival season, minus the mud, rain, and erm camping, when Havaianas took over the Ultra Lounge at Selfridges turning it into a festival fantasy land complete with hay bales, grass and of course the token celebrity, to celebrate the launch of their wellies.
That’s right our fave party poppets including Jameela Jamil and Daisy Lowe were out in force. Jameela Jamil looked hot in an orange halter top, while Daisy Lowe, who was also DJing at the event, went for a silky maxi dress. Laura Whitmore also looked hot in an assemble of black. When Daisy wasn’t on the decks we were treated to music from artist Jamie Woon as well as dance artists ‘Brazilian Fantasy’ who took to the floor and created dance frenzy toward the end of the night.
Add to that the free flow of caipirinha’s and other Brazilian cocktails by Sagatiba and foods including Tacos, Fajitas, Mini Fish n’Chips & Burgers and the company gave us that dream festival feel. Take note festival organisers we want this kind of treatment all summer.
However, the real stars of the night were of course the brand new wellies, which we fell in love with. Bright pinks with grey trimmings, purples, greys with pink trimmings and of course on-trend khaki green were all colours on display. Those feeling a little bit more daring also have a choice of a summer beach theme and for £45 a pair they really are a wardrobe must have.

Hilary Duff gets easily bored with her hairstyles.
The singer-and-actress is often changing her tresses as she doesn’t like to keep the same look for too long and is keen to experiment.
Speaking about her new blonde do – which is a similar shade to when she shot to fame playing Lizzie McGuire – Hilary said: “I was like ‘I’m bored and I like wanted to dye my hair really really blonde’ and then I got scared – and then it turned out really blonde. I haven’t been this blonde and my sister’s like calling me Lizzie McGuire which is so funny. I’m like, ‘No please don’t call me that!’ ”
Although she is pleased with the final result, Hilary says the transformation took some time.
She told People magazine: “I was at the salon two days a week for the past two weeks and it was driving me crazy. But you know when you’re just not happy? You’re like, ‘I need this tweaked and fixed,’ and so it was just me being mental.”
She also revealed husband Mike Comrie is a fan of her new look although would be impressed with any of her looks.
She said: “He loves me blonde but when we met I had brown hair so I think he loves me anyway.”

Sarah Harding has chosen the venue for her wedding.
The Girls Aloud singer – who got engaged to DJ Tom Crane on New Year’s Eve 2010 while on holiday in the Maldives – has booked Cliveden House in Berkshire, England, for her nuptials this summer.
According to The Sun newspaper, the pop star has arranged for a ferry to transfer guests from London to the palatial mansion before flying out from Heathrow airport the next day for her honeymoon in Ibiza.
While guests at the wedding are set to include bandmates Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicole Roberts, one person who won’t be invited is her father John Harding who Sarah says is “dead” to her.
She said in an interview with Live magazine: “My father is dead to me – I can’t forgive him. After he and my mother divorced, he wasn’t a very nice person and what’s done is done. Looking back, I think the split was more destructive and destabilising than I realised because I started bunking off school and getting into trouble.
“I know it’s harsh but I have no place in my life for someone like that. I came close to being in contact with him again but he talked to the press and tried to sell pictures of me as a young girl. He’s a very selfish man and as far as I’m concerned he’s gone.”

Firstly the rumour mill was buzzing that Bruce Oldfield was going to design Kate Middleton’s frock. The after that avenue faded, we became convinced that it was going to be an Alexander McQueen design.
However, with the royal wedding only 11 days away there’s a new designer in the fashion worlds eye.
The rumour mill is buzzing with whispers that Sophie Cranston who designed the black velvet coat Kate wore to the wedding of Harry Aubrey-Fletcher and Sarah Stourton earlier this year, could be the designer to make the frock.
Of course she already has a high profile following with the likes of Emma Watson being a fan, and she’s fast becoming bookmakers favourite to design the frock of the century for the Royal Wedding.
We’ve not got long to wait.

Evan Rachel Wood is “up for” dating girls.
The 23-year-old actress revealed she has had partners of both genders and now she is looking for love she doesn’t mind whether her next relationship is with a man or woman.
She said: “[I'm] up for anything. Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl …
“I was always into very androgynous things. Guys, girls … I’m into androgyny in general.”
The ‘True Blood’ star – who famously had a three-year on/off relationship with gothic rocker Marilyn Manson, which came to an end last year – also admitted that when she dates girls she adapts the male role in the relationship.
She explained to Esquire magazine: “I’m more of like the guy when it comes to girls. I’m the dominant one.
“I’m opening the doors, I’m buying dinner. Yeah I’m romantic.”
However, despite her penchant for dating members of the same sex, the blonde beauty admitted in November that she still loves Marilyn, to whom she was engaged.
She said: “He had a hand in raising me! Oh, I’m always gonna love that guy. He’s a genius, he’s an amazing artist, we’re still friends. Some things just aren’t meant to be.”

Lily Allen has chosen her chief bridesmaid for her wedding.
The 25-year-old singer – who is set to tie the knot with Sam Cooper in Gloucestershire, South West England, on June 11 – has reportedly given British TV presenter Miquita Oliver the honour at her nuptials, while her younger half-sister Teddy Rose is to be a flower girl.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Lily and Miquita have been friends since childhood so there was always going to be a good chance she would be the maid of honour.
“Miquita knows Lily inside out and is bound to put on a great party for the hen do. They’ve grown up a bit now but both of them still know how to hit it hard.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Fear’ hitmaker has allegedly snubbed supermodel Kate Moss by not including her in the 300-person strong guest list for the wedding after she heard the 37-year-old beauty was planning on holding her hen party on the same night as Lily.
A friend of the star told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “Lily and Kate are more like ‘frenemies’ these days. Lily was upset when she heard that Kate was throwing her own hen night on the same weekend as hers.
“Lily then brought hers forward to May, but the whole thing has left a bitter taste. Kate hasn’t received a proper invitation to the wedding and she won’t be sending Lily one to hers in July, either. It’s awkward as they have mutual friends who may feel divided.”
However, Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish will be attending the nuptials, provided they can find a babysitter for their four-month-old son Zachary.
The source added: “Lily hopes Elton and David Furnish can come if they get someone to look after their son Zachary.”

Gwyneth Paltrow “worked her ass off” for the good things in her life.
The ‘Country Strong’ actress – who has children Apple, six, and Moses, five, with husband Chris Martin – believes some people resent the fact she seemingly has it all because she is not afraid to try new things and says her desire to do her best is often mistaken for her feeling superior to others.
She said: “I think my work ethic is the reason why I’m successful. I think that a lot of people don’t want to put in effort and it’s easier to not change, not do something good for you, not work on your relationship, not make yourself a meal, not work out. They’re just p**sed off at someone else doing that
“Everything in my life that’s good is because I worked my ass off to get it and to maintain it.
” I think people mistake me trying to be the best version of myself for me telling them you’re not, or they just think well, what does that make me then, you annoying f**king person on the soapbox.”
Gwyneth – who has recently released her own cook book, ‘My Father’s Daughter’, and is rumoured to have landed a record deal – also admitted she pities her critics as she thinks they are projecting their negative feelings about themselves onto her.
She added in an interview with PopEater: “Sometimes if I hear of something really unkind or somebody’s really misunderstood me or something like that for a second I’ll be like, ‘Oooh wow that hurt,’ but almost immediately I’ll be like, ‘poor guy.’ What state are they in that they’re seeing that or projecting that.”
