Britain’s Zara Phillips has married Mike Tindall. Queen Elizabeth’s eldest granddaughter tied the knot with the England rugby player at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland, in a private ceremony this afternoon (30.07.11).
The 30-year-old blonde – daughter of Princess Anne and her ex-husband Mark Phillips – looked stunning in a beautiful ivory gown by Stewart Parvin as she arrived at the venue with her father.
Following the service, Zara and Mike – who have been dating for around seven years – posed for photographers outside the church, kissing to the cheers from the excited well-wishers, who had lined the streets in order to catch a glimpse of them.
Guests at the wedding included the queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and fellow royal newlyweds, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who married in April.
Singer Una Healey, TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher and actress Katherine Kelly were also in attendance.
The reception will take place at nearby Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Last night (29.07.11), the couple hosted a pre-wedding party on the royal yacht Britannia, which is moored in Leith and had previously attended a rehearsal for the ceremony at the kirk with the bride’s parents.

Any excuse really to be able to share some photos of footballer David Beckham.
David, who is now busy being daddy to new baby girl Harper Seven as well as her three brothers Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, is definitely looking more handsome the older he gets. And those tattoos are just amazing!
Oh yeah, and he’s also created a bodywear range exclusively for H&M…

Rihanna has revealed she likes people to think “What the hell is she wearing?” when they look at her.
While many celebrities would give a lot to blend in with the crowd when they’re out and about, the singer tries to create attention grabbing looks when she gets dressed every day and loves putting “bizarre” looks together.
Rihanna said: “Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, ‘What the hell is she wearing?’”

As many of you already know I’m joining the celebrity trend of having a baby.
That’s right, next month I’ll have a little bundle of joy that I’ll no doubt be trying to give a celebrity style name to, although I draw the line at putting numbers in there – no offence Victoria Beckham.
Of course with such a big change I’m going to need some adjusting so I’m taking a little bit of leave, which starts today.
However, fear not as I’ll be back in October to continue with all the fashion news and gossip.
In the meantime, while I suffer from fashion withdrawl, I’ll leave you in the very capable hands of the Shiny team and the lovely Emily Borrett.
See you in October!

Tom Ford had a “terrible time” at the end of his reign at Gucci.
The 49-year-old designer – who gained international notoriety for turning around the fortunes of the Italian fashion house – left the luxury label in 2004, and admitted he quickly became “bored” after being used to the fast-paced nature of the clothing industry.
He said: “I had a terrible time at the end of Gucci. But most intelligent people need to take time to reflect on where they are with their lives. I was going to play golf. But even though I was pretty good as a kid, I was just awful as an adult.
“I quickly became bored. I needed something to do. I woke up on holiday one day in Mustique and said to my partner, ‘I want to do womenswear again. I want to do my own collection.’
Tom – who launched his self-titled brand in April 2005 – explained he has learned from his experience at Gucci, but it has made it “impossible” for him to do anything on a small scale.
He added to Grazia magazine: “Having worked at Gucci, it’s impossible for me to do anything in a small way. If I am thinking about the Tom Ford woman and wondering what she will wear, I am also wondering what she’ll smell like, what her lipstick will be, what her boyfriends are wearing, what her accessories are.
“I am already thinking about how her home will look, what linen she’ll sleep in. I need a few seasons to get everything working like clockwork, and then you’ll see. There’s more to come.”

Amy Winehouse’s designs for label Fred Perry could be released posthumously.
The British streetwear company – famed for their iconic polo shirts, synonymous with teenagers of the 60s and 70s and the early Skinhead moment – had collaborated with the singer, who died suddenly on Saturday (23.07.11), on two successful collections and say they have three in the Fred Perry x Amy Winehouse range which could potentially be released.
Whether the garments will be made and sold, however, has yet to be decided, as the brand is planning to approach her family for input.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “Everything is on hold until we speak with Amy’s family and management.”
Amy was said to have been fully involved with the design of her collections, the first of which was a 50s inspired set which included twinsets, gingham, pencil skirts and capri pants in October 2010.
She then collaborated on a follow up Spring/Summer collection which was Hawaiian-inspired and launched in March this year.
Richard Martin, a marketing manager from Fred Perry, told Harper’s Bazaar Amy was a “delight” to work with.
He said: “Bright, passionate, and dedicated, with strong ideas of exactly what it was that she wanted from the range. Detailing, fabrics-she was all over it.”
The three collections Amy designed for Fred Perry could are enough for the label to release through until late next year.

Rihanna: Taken up belly dancing to keep fit
Rihanna likes to be dominated in the bedroom.
The ‘S&M’ hitmaker – who is currently single – is happy to be forthright and forceful in her everyday life, but says when it comes to sex, she wants to be treated “like a lady”.
Explaining why she likes a man to take charge, she said: “I play a very dominant role in my life, in every aspect of it. And I like to feel like a lady still, at some point.
“I feel like that’s the time when a guy really gets to be a man, and I get to be a woman. And if I’m being a man in the bedroom too, there’s nothing really in it for me.”
The red-haired beauty also spoke of her frustration that she can’t act like a “rock star” and have more fun in her career because she is a role model for many young girls.
She told the September issue of America’s Glamour magazine: “I want to set the right example and, at the same time, live my life..I feel like pop stars can’t be rock stars anymore because they have to be role models, and it takes the fun out of it for us, because we just want to have fun with art.”
However, the 23-year-old pop superstar admits her image now is much more how she wants it to be than it was when she first shot to fame six years ago.
She explained: “In the beginning of my career, it was really strict for me. I couldn’t wear pink or red lipstick; it was just bizarre. We had a young fan base, and they were trying to keep me fresh. But I just really wanted to be myself. I wanted to be sassy, the attitude, all these things that I am.”

Anne Hathaway has a “sweet tooth” – but will only eat vegan cakes.
The 28-year-old actress is a committed vegetarian and although she loves baked treats she won’t let any doughy delights pass her lips which have been made from animal products.
She said: “I’m a vegetarian but I have a sweet tooth, so I go to this wonderful bakery in New York called BabyCakes. It makes amazing vegan cakes, which are gluten free and often sugar free, egg free and dairy free. The vegan apple pie is incredible – it’s my favourite dish.”
Anne also likes to get her hands dirty in the kitchen herself and often creates the cakes from the bakery at home.
She added: “I’ve got a cookbook from there and I’ve made just about everything in it. I’m an awesome baker – I’ll give myself credit for that.”
The ‘Love and Other Drugs’ star enjoys cooking and is willing to try and prepare any meal, and her inspiration is TV chef Nigella Lawson.
She said: “I love Nigella she’s so passionate and loves cooking, which is very inspiring, but she’s very entertaining too – in a good way. Am I a domestic goddess? No, I’m a horror, but luckily, I have very hungry friends who will try out anything I concoct.”

It was a busy weekend and week for A-listers with many dressing up and hitting events.
Kick starting our best dressed list today is Jennifer Aniston who turned up in a white beaded dress for the Horrible Bosses London premiere, while brights were on the cards for some of the Girls Aloud girls who turned up to support Kimberley Walsh at the Horrid Henry premiere.
Kimberley went for an orange short dress, while Sarah Harding looked hot in a nude knitted frock.
However, it was Nicola Roberts who stole the show in a yellow print maxi dress.
Over in LA Ashley Greene looked stunning in a zebra print frock at the Breaking Dawn photocall at Comic Con. Her co-star Kristen Stewart also looked hot in a sheer white blouse with contrasting black bra.

"Believing" Black Shoes
Sex up even the most prim of outfits with these fabulously nasty black plastic heels from Melissa.
We’re all coming over a bit naughty at the moment, what with all the bondage-inspired gear that’s been wiggling up and down the catwalks lately. Both Mugler and Louis Vuitton weren’t afraid to show their bad sides with their latest runway shoes, as Gaga made an appearance for Mugler’s show in skin-tight leather and Kate Moss came out of catwalk retirement to sultrily walk for LV in the smallest of fetish pants, smoking a cigarette. “Goodness,” we all said. It certainly makes a change from frills and ruffles. But can this look be translated into an everyday wardrobe?
Well, actually yes it can. If you’re brave enough to go top-to-toe dominatrix then go for it, but be fully aware that it might earn you a few funny looks and unwanted remarks from builders – but it’s just as easy to mix the trend into your wardrobe without too much panic.
If you’re going to opt for a high-voltage, ridiculously sexy bondage cocktail dress, then mix it up with simple accessories and heels for a jaw-dropping evening look. Or if you want to make your everyday wardrobe a little wilder, why not try out some black leather trousers or some scary fetish heels to give just a knowing wink to the trend?

Nicki Minaj has already previously modelled for Mac
Here’s a slightly unexpected piece of news: Ricky Martin has been chosen to one of the faces of Mac’s new campaign for their Viva Glam lipstick alongside Mac-aholic singer Nicki Minaj. Now, Nicki is a choice that we understand, given her ghetto-fab love for bold colour and makeup, but Ricky? Will he have to model the lipstick himself? Does he like wearing lipstick? We’re dying to see the photo campaign already.
Make-up lover or not, Ricky is going to have to work hard to keep up with Miss Minaj, who’s already been the face of the brand’s “Pink 4 Friday” lipstick. Luckily he’ll be in good hands, as legendary fashion photographer David La Chapelle is going to shoot the campaign. And I repeat – we cannot wait to see the results.
All sales will be going to a good cause, as the proceeds made will be donated to the cause of fighting AIDs and HIV.
Ricky and Nicki had better be getting ready to pucker up for the cameras – we’ve got a feeling this is going to be one hell of a photoshoot.
