Miranda Kerr says she’s “equal” to other models.
The Australian beauty admits when she first saw other Victoria’s Secret models such as Heidi Klum and Gisele Bundchen she felt quite under-confident in her ability but now knows she can hold her own.
She told New York Magazine: “I just remember, like, the first time I met Adriana (Lima), she was so beautiful. I was like, ‘Why would they want me? I mean, look at her. She’s incredible.’ And then I met Heidi and Gisele and I was like, ‘What am I doing here?’
“But now I always see myself as, like, equal to everyone.”
Miranda – who has a 10-month-old son, Flynn, with husband Orlando Bloom – also revealed how it’s important for women to feel confident in themselves, no matter who they are standing next to.
She said: “I can’t feel bad about being who I am, just like the girl next to me can’t feel bad about being who she is. Because a rose can never be a sunflower, and a sunflower can never be a rose.”
“I want to encourage women to embrace their own uniqueness. Because just like a rose is beautiful, so is a sunflower, so is a peony. I mean, all flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that’s like women too.”
Kate Hudson felt like the “hippest” girl in the world when Stella McCartney agreed to dress her for the 2001 Oscars.
Kate was just 21 when she received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress and was thrilled when the designer agreed to make a gown for her to wear to the prestigious event.
However, it didn’t go down to well with the world’s press but both Kate and Stella blame the high up-do she teamed the dress with.
She recalled: “Stella dressed me for my first red carpet event in 2001 for the Academy Awards. It was my first and only nomination. I was 21-years-old and to have Stella McCartney dressing me – well I felt like the hippest, coolest girl in the world. Up until the last minute Stella was working away, hand-sewing the hem. I woke up the next morning in my bed post-awards and without a little statuette on my bedside. I turned on the television to find out I was on every Worst Dressed list possible. So I called Stella and we just laughed our arses off and she said to me, “Look babe, it was the hair wasn’t it?”
However, Kate says she will wear the dress again but will style her tresses in more stylish way.
She said: “To this day that now vintage dress hangs in my wardrobe, but I swear one day I’ll wear it again. But Stella, I promise I’ll do the hair differently.”
Victoria Beckham is “in love” with all her four children.
The fashion designer – who has sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, Cruz, six, and four-month-old daughter Harper with soccer star husband David – loves being a mother as they bring so much joy to her life.
The 37-year-old star – who has rarely been seen without Harper by her side since her birth in July – said: “Harper is absolutely amazing . but I am in love with all of my children. They are all wonderful.”
Victoria – who currently lives in Los Angeles – and Harper flew into London over the weekend so the former Spice Girl could attend the British Fashion Awards and she admits it was hard to leave the tot to go to the ceremony.
Speaking at the event – where her fashion line won Designer Brand of the Year – she said: “She has been upstairs in the hotel suite tonight and my parents have been babysitting her. I am missing her already! It’s great being back in London, and seeing my mum and dad, but it’s so hectic. I always forget how crazy these events are.”
Victoria was thrilled to receive her award as it’s something her children can be proud of.
She said: “The kids can take this in to show and tell at school.”
Go all glittered out with this dust pot from Barry M
Christmas is the time that you can really get away with OTT make up. One trend that we’re loving and is perfect for that Chrimbo party is glitter eyes.
The look seen on the likes of Emma Watson and Kylie Minogue can be as bold or as simple as you like.
For a toned down look go for a glitter eye shadow with lashings of mascara and dark kohl a la Kate Moss and Katy Perry or take a leaf out of Emma Watson’s make up book and add some little gems for a more dramatic look.

The 70s are a hot fashion topic right now. And while we love all the funky prints and denim the best style to come out of this era and into this season is of course the jumpsuit.
This little one piece has been around for a few seasons but for AW 2011 its taken on a wide legged silhouette and a satin, velvet or silk appearance.
If you want to wear one of these lovelies to that Christmas party then keep it simple. Add a thin waist belt to accentuate that wide leg and add some super high heels.
Finish off the look with a little leather jacket to go right back to that Studio 54 look.

Alexa Chung always looks “phenomenal”, according to designer Christopher Kane.
The TV presenter-and-model wore one of Christopher’s creations to last night’s British Fashion Awards and he says he was thrilled when he saw it on her.
He told Grazia: “I think Alexa looks pretty hot tonight actually. She’s wearing the last look from the [Spring/Summer 2012] show.
“It was just one of those things. She contacts me, she wanted to wear something so it’s great. She looks phenomenal, she always does.”
And it seems Alexa’s efforts paid off as she won the British Style Award, brought to you by Vodafone, for the second year running and she admits she was very flattered with the accolade.
Talking about the award – which is the only one voted for by the British public – Alexa said: “It’s just nice that I’m still relevant in 2011, isn’t it? I thought 2010 was a big one but now it’s got better.
I think this is the only one that the public voted for so it’s such an honour, it’s crazy, it’s so nice.”
Alexa beat nominees including Adele, Daisy Lowe, Florence Welch, Lara Stone, Stella McCartney and Tilda Swinton.
Lady Gaga has an “inability” to find everlasting love.
The ‘Marry the Night’ singer has accepted that she may never tie the knot as she knows she can intimidate men with her creativity and has never felt truly loved.
She said: “I have never felt truly cherished by a lover. I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man. I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that’s what intimidates them is not my purse, it’s my mind.
“It starts out good. Then when I’m in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it’s all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me.
“It’s a hideous place to be in when someone that you love has convinced you that you will never be good enough for anyone.”
The 25-year-old pop star says when she has broken up with previous boyfriends they often try to win her back by proposing, which never works.
She told Vanity Fair magazine: “How f***in’ romantic, you a**hole. Sure pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a f***in’ ring!”
Gaga, 25 says the most important is being happy in a relationship and insists she would never stay with someone who treated her badly no matter how much she loved the guy.
She said: “When I fight with someone I’m in a relationship with, I think, What would my fans think if they knew this was happening? How would they feel about my work and about me as a female if they knew I was allowing this to go on? And then I get out [of the relationship].”
Reese Witherspoon has broken her finger.
The actress was spotted with a bandaged little finger on her left hand as she left her office in Brentwood, California, yesterday, after apparently breaking it.
As she walked, Reese’s finger stuck out, wrapped in a small splint, to keep it straight and aid her recovery.
The singer has had an unlucky year, after she badly twisted her ankle and had to wear a soft cast on her left foot in May. She was then struck while jogging in Santa Monica by an elderly lady driving her car at around 20 miles per hour in September.
While she sported a black eye after the incident, Reese did not press charges against the 84-year-old driver and was reported to be “resting comfortably at home” shortly after the incident.
The elderly driver was subsequently ordered the Department of Motor Vehicles to retake her test, including undergoing a full eye examination and to provide a list of medication she was currently taking.
Accident prone Reese has recently admitted she has had to face up to a number of phobias, including an irrational fear of travel.

Hats are always a must have during these cold winter months but like every garment, these change depending on the trends.
Therefore that wooly hat you had last year may not just cut it. Thankfully we have been keeping our beady little fashion eyes on what’s hot in the hat world this season to ensure you get your look just right, and it’s great news for those mad about these head warmers because there’s a huge amount of styles to choose from.
