In monochrome with a nod to the 80s

Little Mix were crowned the X Factor 2011 winners last night, with both girls and boys voting for them, and we can see why the UK’s new girl band got so much support.
Not only can they sing and are all pretty girls but we also fell in love with their fashion sense.
Unlike many a girl band who have been moulded into pretty matching dresses in metallic colours, Little Mix to a point give a nod to the gung-ho attitude last seen by the Spice Girls. Each one has their own individual look, which was channelled in most performances every Saturday night.
This included Jade’s knee high socks, Jessie’s leggings love and Perrie’s nods to the 80s. Off stage Jessie’s look was leopard print, while Jade loves braces. The styles may not traditionally mesh but the way Little Mix wear them just seems to work. We can’t wait to see more.
