I’m beyond excitement to be heading to this year’s Bestival with a good friend this coming weekend. This year things will get wild on the Isle of Wight as revellers descend in their wildlife outfits for a weekend of fancy dress and music, featuring acts like Florence + The Machine, The XX, Stevie Wonder, Sigur Ros, Emeli Sande and many more.
As expected, we started thinking about the theme a bit too late. And having spent last Sunday afternoon in Camden’s Escapades looking at butterfly, bees and sexy fairy costumes, we decided that full-on fancy dress was not for us.
Instead we’ve decided to inject some wildlife to our festival outfits by wearing these utterly fantastic SpiritHoods - from £102.
If you, like us want to take part in the dressing up without opting for the onesie tiger suit, here are four more animal motif pieces to inspire your Bestival fashion.
Leopard print caped playsuit / Topshop – £46.
A Wear Panda jumper / ASOS – £25.
Zebra bodycon dress / Forever 21 – £18.75
Ethically produced limited edition Bestival #Wildlife t-shirt / Rapanui – £20
