Stella McCartney's SS2010 advertising campaign is one that really stands out this year. The designer has created a range of ads based on the old and new, and each and every one is striking.

So we were really excited when we were given a behind the scenes video of the shoot starring model du jour Natalia Vodianova.

We love watching these videos, which really give an idea of the atmosphere of the shoot, and if this is anything to go by, it seems both Stella and Natalie had fun, even sharing a few private jokes in between shots.

Lara Stone has barely been out of the spotlight this year due to her high profile campaigns for Louis Vuitton and a number of magazine spreads.

And her personal life has also caused huge waves with the model announcing her engagement to funny man David Walliams last month.

However, today she's racking up the column inches for her modelling and acting work starring in the new advert for Versace's Versus fragrance.

The 30-second clip shows her dancing in a room full of mirrors with flashing pink and purple lights in the background. Sounds like our ideal Friday night.

We've known for a while that Stella McCartney was a genius (you only have to look at her designs to see it). However, just when we thought she couldn't get anymore creative, she's wowed us all over again.

For her new spring/summer 2010 campaign the designer has incorporated a picture of her old pet dalmatian, which was taken by her mother in 1976, with the clothes from her latest collection modelled by Natalia Vodianova.

Stella said the new campaign was: "Fashion meets reportage, mixing color, and black-and-white. A family animal with an outside atmosphere meets studio lights, camera, action!"

First looks: Taylor Momsen for New Look

Late last year we reported that Taylor Momsen could be the face of New Look and we weren't sure if this was just a rumour or if it would actually happen.

Well guess what, it's happened!

In the first snaps of the 2010 campaign the Gossip Girl, and one of our favourite style icons, poses in a range of Spring outfits for the highstreet store and we absolutely love the kooky stripped dress and on-trend harem pants.

We have to admit we weren't too sure of this partnership as we thought Taylor was made of higher designer things (we expected at least a Gucci or Guess spread).

However we think we should eat our trilby hats as we think Taylor's funky style really works with this brand and shows highstreet can be just as good as designer.

We can't wait to get our hands on some of the range when it hits stores later on this year.

We gave you a first glimpse of Pringle's SS2010 campaign staring Tilda Swinton and now we've got our hands on the promotional video too.

Despite our hopes that the campaign would be fun, the video says a different story, it features Tilda walking across the beautiful Scottish landscape and ending up in a cave wearing different outfits.

And although its not fun, it's laid back, depicted by Tilda's lack of footwear, and just a tad eerie. However it does make for riveting watching and the cinematography is amazing.

Watch it below and tell us if you agree.

First Looks: Scarlett Johansson for Mango SS2010

scar1.jpgScarlett Johansson is no stranger to modelling and not at all unfamiliar with Mango after she fronted the company's A/W 2009 campaign, for which she received mix responses for.

However that hasn't stopped her being signed up to front the highstreet store's S/S2010 collection.

Personally we think Scarlett looks fabulous in this season's florals and floaty designs and we don't think anyone will be complaining this time.

First Looks: Tilda Swinton for Pringle

Tilda.jpgAs you know, many designers are now picking up celebrities to front their campaigns. This has led to many sultry shots, think Emma Watson for Burberry and Madonna for D&G, and while we don't have a problem with this, it's always nice to have a bit of a change.

Cue Pringle's new SS2010 campaign. Although the brand has gone for an actress, it's decided to pick Tilda Swinton who is well known for her sense of humour and fun.

The actress who played the ice queen in the Lion, witch and the Wardrobe apparently went "wild" at the shoot photographed by Ryan McGinley and if this picture is anything to go by we can't wait to see the rest of this fun campaign.

Fendi.jpgIt seems that photographing models in gardens for SS2010 has become the style du jour.

Louis Vuitton started this trend getting model Lara Stone to pose in various garden shots for its upcoming campaign and the first glimpse of the new Fendi campaign shows this design house is following.

However, unlike many brands who have opted for celebrities to front their campaigns (we're talking to you D&G) Fendi has gone down the traditional route hiring polish beauty Anja Rubik.

We think she strikes a gorgeous look in one of the first pictures shot by Karl Lagerfeld and we can't wait to get our hands on the rest.

Luke Worrall for New Look's SS2010 campaign

We're slightly envious of Kelly Osbourne after seeing her beau modelling the lastest New Look designs.

The highstreet store known for it's collection of celebrity designers and models has snapped up Luke Worrall for its SS10 menswear collection.

We think the 50s inspired range, including jeans, chunky cardigans and duffle coats, plus a range of smarter wear really suits his cool look.

Just a warning Kelly. Don't let this one go.

Take a deep breath ladies because we've got some semi naked pictures of Cristiano Ronaldo for you.

We know we concentrate mainly on fashion and female models, but with a male advertising campaign like this we couldn't resist publishing some snaps, and technically it's still fashion.

The footballer has taken over from where David Beckham left off and shows off some serious muscles for Armani's 2010 underwear.

Ronaldo said: "Giorgio Armani is a legend in the fashion world and I have long been a fan of his work.

"I am very pleased with the pictures we have done together - they are certainly striking and are full of attitude and a spirit I can relate to."

We're very pleased with the pictures too Mr Ronaldo.

Ever wondered how a big ad campaign comes together? Well take a look at this video with behind the scenes footage for Lara Stone's shoot for Louis Vuitton.

It was only last month we showed you the gorgeous pictures of the star who took over from Madonna as the face of the brand, and many of you agreed she looked stunning.

We love seeing how a shoot comes together from the selection of clothing to the hair and make-up and, in this case the birds. And we promise this video does not disappoint.

Megan 1.jpgIt was way back in October when we reported that Megan Fox had replaced Victoria Beckham as the face of Armani's SS2010 underwear range.

Even then we knew these pictures would be sizzling, and now we've seen them, we know we were right (don't you just love that?). Megan 2.jpg

However instead of the sexy shoot we were expecting, these ads show a far more demure side to Megan, who poses in one of the shots in a cute black and white stripped set. We can't wait to see the rest of them.

"Megan is young and sexy and has a lot of spirit. Both Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans are all about a youthful attitude, making her the perfect choice for the collections," said Giorgio Armani.

Karen.jpg

She may have been voted as the woman many of us would like to look like in a Superdrug poll, but the year seems to be going downhill fast for Angelina Jolie.

According to WWD, the actress has been dropped from luxury fashion label St.John in favour of red head model Karen Elson (left).

Glenn McMahon, chief executive officer at St.Johns, said Ms Pitt "overshadowed the brand."

He added: "We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette."

Although Angelina has been fronting the brand for a good few years it seems the partnership between her and the company has always been a little bit rocky.

Back in 2007 two new designs were said to have been made especially for the actress following claims that she was unhappy with some of the current designs she was contractually meant to wear to events.

We think the phrase "shot yourself in the foot" may ring true here Ange.

From as far back as we can remember clothing ads have always featured beautiful models and most recently celebrities and over the past few months we've covered a range of ad campaigns featuring these.

However, it got us wondering what people used to do to promote their clothing and brands way back when the words "celebrity" and "models", along with cameras hadn't even been invented.

We therefore decided to do a bit of research into the world of clothing adverts dating right back to the 1700s (yes fashion has been going all the way from then, and perhaps beyond) to now and have put together a time-lined gallery of some of them.

We're sure you'll be as surprised as we were by some of these vintage ads.

With so many celebs, actresses and new models fronting designer's ad campaigns it's sometimes hard to ever remember iconic supermodels such as Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford.

That is until we spotted Salvatore Ferragamo's SS2010 campaign. The brand has gone right back to 80s basics opting to use original supermodel Claudia Schiffer for its shoots.

We love the soft and serene 50s styling of the model, who poses for one of the almost angelic pictures, shot by Mario Testino, in this white dress.

Claudia, you may be a little bit older than the rest of the ad campaign faces heard but we think you've definitely still got it.
