Tesco finally makes clothing available online

Comments (0)

Tesco.jpgWe're not going to rabbit on about how much we love online shopping because if you're a regular reader you'll know how passionate we are about it.

However, what we will be talking about, at least until the weekend, is the fantastic news that Tesco has added fashion to its huge online range.

From today we can pick up the supermarket's well known clothing brands such as the gorgeous Florence and Fred and Liquorish, while filling up our kitchen cupboards.

We love this gorgeous satin skirt with a flattering side pleat and for £40 it's a definite must have for your winter wardrobe.

Just make sure you don't mistakenly pack these clothes away with your fridge stuff. They may look good enough to eat, but we think they'd look much better on.

Make up magic.jpgThere's nothing like bagging a bargain to cheer us up on a Monday morning and this new website has really brightened up our day.

Magic Makeup is a fantastic site for us girls who want to get film star looks at budget prices.

It claims it can offer us the cheapest make up prices as it sells on line and has limited overheads.

Examples of new kissable treats include: Stilla Lipshine, which normally retails for £12, being sold on the site for £3.99 and Revlon Super Lustrous Shiny Sheers, normally £7 in stores but £2.45 through Magic Make up.

The website also sells bath and body products, plus scented candles. We can't think of a better way to spend some of our payday dosh.

Our bargain find: Red winter coat

RED COAT _28 QS.jpg
Let's face it; we'll never just be happy with one coat this winter.

However, as the credit crunch continues to bite as icily as the winter weather it doesn't seem we have a choice, does it?

Instead of wallowing we have been having a scout around and we have found a perfect alternative.

This red coat from QS, which is fast becoming a close second to our favourite bargain store Primark, is only £28. Yes that's right, £28 and that's not even its sale price.

With its double breasted waisted look, we can guarantee you'll not only be warm but also be able to afford at least another two coats this winter, or just that one Gucci coat you've been dreaming about.

Bargain Pick of the Week: Kimchi Blue Woven Hinge Wallet

Bargain wallet.jpg

Have some cash left to actually fill this wallet after you buy it. The Kimchi Blue woven hinge wallet has a "I picked this up at the bazaar" quality to it, but you can buy it at Urban Outfitters for only $12.99.

There's plenty of pockets inside and plenty of style outside. Plus in gold you can use it with whatever purse you want, or call me crazy but I think it would make a cute clutch when you're headed out to the bar.

Bargain Pick of the Week: Urban Outfitters lace skimmer

Lace skimmer BOTW.jpg

Sometimes we fudge it on shoes, but these Urban Outfitters lace skimmers are a bona fide bargain at $19.99.

We love evening flats, they're so versatile. Their lack of heel instantly makes them appropriate for a variety of casual outfits, but they're just as cocktail party chic with a LBD. Or, stash them in your purse and you won't be stuck in a sequin party frock and flip flops on your walk home.

Plus, a rubber sole? Hello Valentine, be mine!

Bargain Pick of the Week: Le Sportsac Kevyn bag

LeSportsac Kevyn Bag.jpg

This little Le Sportsac Kevyn bag would make a great makeup bag for only $25. All Le Sportsac bags are a great fabric for carrying around spillables, so I often look to them for the perfect cosmetics carrier. And I love the black rose print.

Five styles in six different prints were featured on Home Shopping Network yesterday and worth taking a look at, nothing over $130!

Bargain pick of the week necklace.jpg

Apparently we're a bit fixated on necklaces this week, but if you can't afford Drew Barrymore's $270 necklace, this one from Forever 21 is equally statement-making.

This gemstone necklace from Forever 21, $7.80, dangles faceted clear and gray gemstones from a gunmetal chain and black grosgrain ribbon for a look that can go goth or glam.

Necklaces like these are one of the best ways to jazz up your LBD, especially if it has a higher neckline that makes the necklace look more like part of the dress than an accessory.

Bargain Party Dress of the Week.jpg

I recently got a fabulous deal on a green chiffon Tahari Christmas dress at Macy's ($160 down to $30 thankyouverymuch) and so I want everyone to find a fabulous dress there! So that's one reason I'm featuring the London Times Sleeveless Crossover-Waist Dress, $110, as our bargain party dress of the week.

Sure, it's a LBD, but the shimmering charmeuse, crossover and pin tucking make it so much more!

The other reason I'm featuring it? Now through Monday Macy's is extending their 20% employee discount to friends and family when you use this coupon:

Happy shopping!

Bargain POTW old navy jacket.jpg

This Old Navy canvas peacoat is perfect for today's rainy, dreary weather on the East Coast. If it's particularly chilly, the coat is roomy enough to layer under, and then you can just add a scarf on top.

While we chose the neutral bone color, there are also fun options like purple and green if you're looking for something more bold.

The best part? Right now it's only $25. Old Navy has up to 50 percent off all outerwear this week, and we're guessing prices will remain low once the cold snaps really hit.

If your part of the country is already snapping - there's wool versions of the peacoat under $50 as well.

Bargain pick of the week - Target boot.jpg

I know we're all about the Target news today, but here's something you can actually buy now.

The Kathy riding boot, $36.99, has been at Target for awhile (I think), but last night I tried them on and finally found a zip-up riding boot that goes over my muscular calves. I wanted to cry.

I also learned that stretching your leg out in front of you to zip up your boots is the shoe equivalent of laying down to zip up your jeans. I'm currently wearing the boots around the house to stretch them out a bit more, but my 2-year search is over. YAY.

Bargain POTW Target dress.jpg

We think this dress would make a great start to a myriad of Halloween costumes so it would be perfect for our pre-Halloween Bargain Pick of the Week.

The Target strapless dress, $29.99, has some adorable tulle peeking out from the bustline. We think it's begging for a tulle underskirt as well to take it into full-on Betsey Johnson territory.

Almost any celebrity/pop star costume could be put together with this dress, and you'd definitely get some use out of it the rest of the year.
