Tell us what you would change about your home and WIN tickets to Ideal Home Show with Everest Windows

For over 100 years The Ideal Home Show has been bringing ideas and inspiration to generations of British home owners. The show is back in 2012 at Earls Court London, with loads more features, more expert advice and more fun for all the family.

From kitchens and bathrooms, to bedrooms and basements, from fixtures and fittings to fine food, gardens and the latest gadgets, plus three fully built show homes, you’ll find it all under one roof.

Shiny Style has teamed up with the Ideal Home Show, sponsored by Everest, to offer you the chance to win one of THREE pairs of tickets to this multi award winning homes and gardens event (each pair is worth £24).

At the show Everest will also be running various competitions including DIY time with a handyman as one of the prizes.

The Ideal Home Show will take place at Earl’s Court, London, 16 March – 1 April, Earl’s Court, London. To be in with a chance of winning one pair of tickets simply tell us:

Competition: Win two tickets to Farm Festival

farm festival.jpg For those of you who’ve been bitterly weeping into your unworn wellies this summer, cursing all your friends who’ve had the cash to swan off to all the biggest festivals such as Glastonbury, there’s still time for you to get a taste of festival life.

Farm Festival, the two-day event set in a farm -yes, a farm – in Bruton, Somerset, is an intimate event that will probably end up the most fun you’ve ever had in your life, ever. This year is going to be my first time (how poignant) but I’m friends of FF veterans who go every year and love it. The line-up is featuring such fun, danceable bands as Wild Palms, The Electric and Egyptian Hip Hop, whilst in the day time there’s going to be childish delights such as Punch and Judy, Arts and Crafts and face painting. Like a retro primary-school summer fete, but with cider and dancing.

I should also warn those interested in going now that there is a very important rule that must be adhered to, and that’s wearing a hat. Hats are compulsory, and the crazier the better – the best hat-wearers will be awarded prizes at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Sunday.

Sounds kind of cool, right? Tickets are a snip at £35 each (that’s with free camping, yay) and can be bought on WeGotTickets.com. However, if you’re a bit skint but still want to go, the lovely makers of Farmfestival have kindly donated two tickets for you and a friend to be won in an online raffle organised by Topman. If you love to write and want to get into London Fashion Week without having to disguise yourself as a bin man/very tall supermodel then this might be for you.

This year footwear company Scholl are going to be at one of the hottest fashion events in the world- On|Off during London Fashion Week.

It will be launching a fashion blog at the On|Off fashion shows giving a behind the scenes review of all shows and the latest gossip and trends to emerge and it’s currently looking for a Scholl blogger to head down to London and report back on all the shows.

To enter the competition, which ends this Sunday, all you have to do is visit the Party Feet site, upload an image of yourself in your favourite shoes and write a little bit on why you’d be the perfect party feet blogger.

The winner gets to report from the On|Off shows with VIP access and behind the scenes insight, as well as an I-phone so you can upload stories and videos to the blog as and when it happens.
