If you didn’t fancy braving the queues and the cold to get your hands on the latest H&M designer collaboration with Marni or didn’t have much luck with the queue style website system then you’ll probably hate us today.
The capsule collection may have launched, and been snapped up quicker than you can say “credit card” but we thought the range deserved a mention anyway. Partly because of the detailing and intricacy involved.
Like Marni’s main collection, rich fabrics dominated the range appearing on voluminous skirts, silk tops and flimsy summer dresses.
The styling was less aimed at the teen market, which went crazy for H&M’s Versace collaboration, and more for a mature audience. Hemline’s were longer and tops looser.
However, they did reflect H&M’s audience with slimmer cuts and brighter, bolder colours.
Key items included the leather bag as well as statement Marni patterned scarves.
If you hurry you might still be able to get your hands on a few pieces from the range. Failing that there’s eBay.
See the gallery below for some of our fave pieces from the collection.

Next, Asos and Dorothy Perkins are also going down the floaty floral routes, while French Connection has introduced ethereal frocks.
If you really want to make a summer splash then H&M also has some great bold prints and bright coats to ensure you stand out.

ITV and the Beeb will be going head to head in two weeks time when they both air two anticipated talent shows on the same day.
Britian’s Got Talent airs on ITV, while the Beeb is pushing it’s new singing show- The Voice.
However, we’re not interested in the ratings over here at ShinyStyle, instead we can’t wait to see what the judges will be wearing.
Jessie J – judge over at The Voice has already got the claws out claiming she’s not interested in having a stylist, while it is thought that BGT judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden will be styled to the nines.
However, is Jessie’s quirky style enough to win her the best dressed title or will Alesha Dixon’s statement, yet safe bodycon dress style be enough to propel her to the fashion forefront?
Then there’s Amanda Holden whose dresses are glam, if not a little bit too styled for our liking.
Take a look at the gallery below and let us know who you think wins the best dressed judge award by leaving your comments in the box below.

We must admit we’ve had a bit of a girl crush on Adele for a while now. So when we saw her looking all glamorous and gorgeous when performing at the BRITs the other week, we couldn’t help but wish we kind of looked like her.
Adele has made the flirty 50s flick her trademark and we’re sure many ladies out there are wondering how they can copy the singer’s look for their own time in the spotlight – that’s every day, any day. Well wonder no more! With the help of international celebrity and bridal make-up artist Helen Kalli, here is a step-by-step guide on how to re-create Adele’s beautiful make-up (just scroll down below the image).

Face:
Firstly use Shu Uemura’s UV under base BB mousse £29 for smoothing out the skin and helps hold onto makeup.
Chanel ‘s Vital Lumiere Satin finish Foundation £33 is great for giving a dewy, fresh faced skin. It has a medium buildable coverage and works well when applied with a brush! This is giving Adele that beautiful fluid skin – perfection!
Always set your foundation with a translucent powder, I love Ben Nye colourless powder; this will give you longevity and a shine free face!
Eyes:
Apply Lancôme’s Ombre Absolute Momo Radiant Smoothing Eye shadow in Moonlight £16.50 all over the lid and under the brow, then use Laura Mercier’s Fresco on the crease to give definition.
Then use a gel liner like Maybelline’s Eye Studio Lasting Drama £5.99 to create a sultry feline eye. I would apply with a flat liner brush rather than a pointed brush, as this will help you to get a straight line. Always do the eye you find harder to do first, as this will help when matching them up!
Lash on with Eylure Naturalites False Eyelashes Glamour £5.35 for the ultimate red carpet finish!
Cheeks:
Use Shu Uemura’s Glow on Blush £9.75 Pearl Pink on the apples on the cheeks.
Brows:
Adele has perfectly groomed brows! This is key to frame the face. I would recommend using a powder as it gives a softer look and is easier to use rather than pencil. Laura Mercier’s Brow duos are fab!
Lips:
Use Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Lipshine in Aventure £23 Adele’s kept it soft which is perfect, but you could go for a soft red if you prefer!

Kate Middleton once again showed off her style on a trip to Fortnum & Mason yesterday.
The Duchess of Cambridge gave a nod to the impending spring in a blue chiffon dress, which she teamed up with Rupert Sanderson suede heels.
However, what really caught our eye was her stunning blue Missoni boucle coat, which she accessorised with a little daffodil.
We know that not everyone is lucky enough to splash that cash on a designer coat so we’ve scoured the highstreet to bring you some affordable alternatives.
Give a nod to one of this season’s hottest trends and go for a cobalt blue shade or go for a more casual take with an oversized boyfriend blazer.
If you’re a fan of the military trend why not opt for a double breasted alternative, or go for a high collar.
See our top picks in the gallery below.

La La land has had it’s fair share of attention the past few days but last night London had its chance to shine in the style stakes with the NME awards.
Doing their bit for British style were Alexa Chung who as always looked hot in an on-trend navy polka dot chiffon mini dress, while Marina Diamandis went for her usual kooky look sporting a bright pink 50s frock complete with a bow hairband.
Florence Welch gave a nod to the 70s with a floral monochrome suit and Katy B kept it simple with a cute white pleated dress.
See the gallery below for our top five best dressed.

Burberry is always a show that never fails to disappoint and Christopher Bailey’s AW 2012 collection for the British fashion house was no different.
Models marched down the catwalk clutching striped umbrellas, which protected them from the fake snow that gave a nod to a quintessential British winter.
Of course the statement Burberry trench made an appearance- this year with fur and tweed twists- but what really stood out were the bow belts used in just about every look from jackets to striped skirts and as belts for coats.
Shapes gave a nod to the Victorian era with jackets flared at the waist and just below the knee A-line skirts given a little bit of an extra width, they were coupled with baker boy hats to really finish off the look.
However, the colour palate was anything but Victorian with yellows, blues and browns all making up main part of the collection.
After this display, stripes and bows are sure to be two looks that are hot on the highstreet this autumn.
See the gallery below for all the catwalk pics.

After a successful run in New York the fashion extravaganza has finally arrived in the capital.
London Fashion Week opened with a bang this morning with designer duo Antoni & Alison setting the scene for autumn/winter 2012.
Showing a collection only made up of dresses, the name kind of gave it away ‘models walking up and down in dresses’, the designs were a mix of fairly simple cuts in various fabrics and prints.
The collection was rich in colour with playful details such as oversized buttons, houndstooth, and big florals. Now the beauty in this collection is that all the intricate textures and details are in fact printed on!
All models wore Mia Farrow cropped style wigs, creating an army of pixies teamed with winged eyes. How very 60’s.
Welcome to London Fashion Week! We can’t wait what is ahead for the rest of the week.

Last night was a fashion gals dream with two main A-list events attracting celebrities to the red carpets.
Over in LA the music world including Katy Perry, who turned up in a blue long lace fishtail frock, and Rihanna who went for a backless black number, walked the style parade at the Grammy awards.
They were joined by Taylor Swift, who looked great in a gold high neck sleeved lace fishtail dress, and Nicki Minaj who took Lady Gaga’s extreme fashion place in a red satin cape. She accessorised her look with her very own Pope.
Over in blighty making a more sophisticated entrance was Meryl Streep who went for a black dress at the BAFTAs.
She was joined by Michelle Williams who went for a 50s dress with a white bodice and black skirt complete with a corsage.
Christina Hendricks showed off her hour glass figure in a black fishtail number while Penelope Cruz added some colour in a wine red strapless straight dress.
See all the style in the gallery below.

That’s right, next season you can hide your bad barnet in style thanks to the likes of Marc Jacobs, Kevork Kiledjin, Anna Sui and K Nicholas making it fashionable to stick our hair under turban like wraps.
