Hats are always a must have during these cold winter months but like every garment, these change depending on the trends.
Therefore that wooly hat you had last year may not just cut it. Thankfully we have been keeping our beady little fashion eyes on what’s hot in the hat world this season to ensure you get your look just right, and it’s great news for those mad about these head warmers because there’s a huge amount of styles to choose from.
Take the lead from Burberry and go for a faux fur animal print beret or go right back to 80s ghetto chic with a baseball cap as seen on the Miu Miu catwalk. Give a nod to the military look with a soldier style hat as seen at Moschino or play it cool with a fedora as spotted at D&G and Tommy Hilfiger.

Victoria Beckham not only won our best dressed award but was also recognised for her talent at the British fashion Awards.
The starlet who turned up in a long black frock, was awarded the Designer Brand award for her brand and the progress it has made.
Meanwhile Alexa Chung who turned up in a silver embellished round neck frock was awarded the British Style award for the second year running.
Kate Moss was also at the event dressed in a questionable mix between a string vest and fishntet type black frock, while Abbey Clancy also made a mistake in an ill fitting cream frock.
Rocking the black dresses were McQueen designer Sarah Burton and Samantha Cameron as well as Kate Hudson who went for a panelled frock.

Lips have gone right back to the 80s this season with bright colours adorning our pouts.
That’s right, bright lip colours are back with a vengeance for AW 2011 thanks to a range of designers including Monique Lhuillier and House of Holland showcasing this trend.
And it seems celebrities have been quick to pick up this look with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Gleek gal Jayma Mays and Katy Perry all going for bright lips at a range of recent events.
To get the look keep eyes minimal, add foundation and a blusher with a tone that reflects the lip colour you’ve chosen to wear.

It’s not long before many of us will be kicking off our court shoes and shedding that work attire for that office Christmas party.
But once our office disguise is off, there comes the other problem and that’s what to wear.
Over the past few weeks we’ve been giving you some ideas but if they still haven’t rocked your boat then why not consider wearing a red dress.
This hue is not only a traditional Chrimbo colour, but also currently hot in celebrity circles and a common look on the red carpet.
Depending on where your boss has decided top take you go all sexy with a bodycon style or play it safe, yet stylish with a skater skirt number.
Below are our top five.
Sequins have stuck around in the fashion world for a good few seasons and it doesn’t look like they are going anywhere before Christmas.
The highstreet is full of these sparkly lovelies from the traditional party dresses to shoes, but this year they’ve also been revamped.
Taking their influence from the masculine trend, sequins have found their way onto bow tie style necklaces, which look great worn with a white shirt and black trews.
They’ve also formed the party look on simple black playsuits for ladies who want to stand out.
Below are our top five picks.

If you’re stuck for that perfect Christmas outfit then fear not because Dorothy Perkins has come up with a huge range specially for the holiday season.
The collection, which is currently available in stores and online- for those of us who partake in a spot of shopping at our desks – has a huge choice of items from sparkly dresses, tops and lots of nods to the masculine trend thanks to skinny black trousers, blazers and ties.
We know you’ll find something for that party or just Christmas day itself.
Marylin Monroe madness has hit the fashion world thanks to new film “My Week with Marylin”. However, as we said yesterday, we don’t really need an excuse to pay homage to the queen of classic Hollywood glamour.
If you’re stuck for Christmas gift ideas for your mum or BFF then why not consider a piece of costume jewellery inspired by the style icon.
We heart these great items from QVC which embody everything about Marylin’s style, from diamond cocktail rings to beaded necklaces to wrist watches. And what’s more they also give a nod to the vintage look, which of course is hot right now.

We’ve gone all starry eyed for today’s Christmas party outfit ideas bringing you a great range of star print frocks and accessories to make sure you really twinkle at this year’s events.
Thanks to the 80s influences this season and the likes of House of Holland and Christopher Kane making them key pieces in their AW 2011 collections, stars are hot this season.
Choose from a printed frock, which can be worn with heels for an evening look, or go for something that stands out a bit more with a sequined number.
Those who want to make more a subtle entrance can also opt for a pair of star print tights or simple accessories, which give a nod to this trend.
